Alpine Mountain Climbing
Alpinism or alpine climbing demands the skills of all climbing disciplines. It draws on the movements and protection of both rock and ice climbing, glacier navigation, extreme weather, and the hazards of exposure to high altitude, Alpine climbing sets itself apart because it takes place in the forbidding and alluring high mountain environment.
Our instructional courses and seminars are based on the idea of a progression that closely follows our own tutelage through climbing. We begin with the rudiments of rock climbing advancing to more expert levels of rock while at the same time offering exposure to ice and alpine climbing as well as backcountry skiing and snow boarding, this leads to the emerging of the quintessential climber, the alpinist, who is comfortable and adept in all mountain environments.
